just scored an HP envy...

380$ shipped, no lie
unit was as is, planned on doing a refurb
seller stated unit would not power/post... recieved unit and it was booting and posting just fine - but with no display
assumed the GPU overheated and ordered a replacement board for 200$, swapped it out - still same issue with no display, so im like wtf. tore down the display unit, got inside, THE FUCKING MAIN CONNECTION TO THE PANEL WAS LOOSE. reattached it, powered it on under the replacement board, booted fine, removed replacement board, replaced with original, power on, posted just fine, put everything back together, PROFIT!
returning replacement board to the seller...
