Also, this is exactly the kind of thing Blizzard likes to nerf. They'll come up with some complaint like "The wizard is a ranged character; this melee stuff is perverse and not what we intended. You are in danger of not having fun." Same thing for the tornado barbarian ("we don't see how this encourages build diversity," etc.).
On the other hand, since people almost always have to acquire new gear for these popular builds, Blizzard may leave them alone. For now. The main thing they want is "build diversity" and "experimentation," which translates as "buying crap on the RMAH since you'll never accumulate enough gold."
