Someone on that forum said they emailed Jason Hall and asked if he posted there. He replied that he had. Could still be fake, but it does have a lot of emphasis on "I" and "me," which is characteristic of monstar king idea men like Hall.

May be code for pay-to-win MP.
If this isn't fake, the whole "I'm paying for it so you can have nostalgic fun" thing makes zero sense. Also, just zdooming an old Build game instead of making Blood 3 for the Xbox makes even less sense.
If real, this seems like an attempt to use the Blood IP to make some kind of retro Xbox Marketplace money hoover. He mentioned cross-platform distribution. Sounds like revenue going both ways to me.
I hate to be so cynical.
