I think we've established that orcs cheat
in OMD2 endless mode. At about wave 25, the game starts urping out ten or more gnolls per round, all of which ignore your physics traps and go right for your guardians. Let's not forget the armies of ogres and trolls that walk right through the most punishing trap gauntlets. Finally, any flying units gain approximately ten million hitpoints and crap all over your air defenses.
From what I've gathered, the only viable defenses after wave 30 are the polymorph ring, mushroom spore traps, and craploads of brimstone (which I guess you have to checkerboard with the mushroom traps).
I can't help thinking spamming autoballistas couldn't hurt.
