Sounds pretty rad, actually. 10/10. It sort of reminds me of this dude I know - every time I see him, he's got some sort of black eye, cuts, scrapes, whatever from getting his ass kicked while drunk. If you're not at this level, then I'd advise that you step your game up.
Also, I can't say that I would be too comfortable with my gf disappearing with her ex either. I haven't had this problem because by that point, I'm generally begging their ex to take them off my hands.
