I agree with johnny: it was pretty slow for a while. I also had a serious problem with this dude waking up in the middle of hell, walking in a random direction and coming across his wife, son and cop-buddy randomly.
One can argue about the implausibility of that, even in a zombie show, but one cannot fail to see that this is a bad way to build up characters in a character driven drama.
