I don't know if you were drunk when you typed that, but if someone is in the market to buy a house, then the bigger down payment the better. I'm not going to wipe out my entire account with a downpayment so that I only have 5 bucks to my name afterwards, but generally, the bigger down payment the better regardless of what you're buying. If I were to lose my job or take a pay cut after a large down payment, at least my mortgage payments would still be affordable. So in short, what I'm trying to say is that you made absolutely no sense and contradicted yourself in the same sentence. You should stop what you're doing as soon as you read this, find the closest knife, and plunge it into your face.
