I've never really understood how they arrive at the wave number in stats. I know that if I lose on wave 41, the stats should give me credit for wave 40. However, if I'm at the very end of wave 41 when I lose, even though I have not completed the wave, the orcs keep playing while the end screen is up, so it's possible that they get to wave 42 even if I don't. It's something else they need to fix.
Anyhow, you must teach me your ways. I've never got past wave 39 on Precipce. Wave 38 is the epitome of despair.
