Subject: RE: Yhatzee wannabe explains data cap problem

How exactly is data capping even relevant when we're 5-10 years away max from every major city having some sort of super fiber Google plus mega broadband capable of downloading 30GB/sec?

Seriously, Google (and probably several others) already see an opportunity to wipe out the idiots who have held the market in this for so long so it's only a matter of time before it's no longer an issue. And yes it may take years, but I would expect to see traditional cable going to the wayside along with it.

Meanwhile most television manufacturers are already producing ultra HD televisions that are going to require quadruple the amount of data just to stream a movie - so yeah I really don't see data capping as a real problem. I mean, I know it pisses people off right this second, but how can anyone think it's going to exist much longer?
