racked up the violence to the ultra, gonna replay everything on BROOTAL difficulty when done
yes, the game is that good. this is a real fps game, and im not even wearing nostalgia goggles anymore motherfuckers. this has all the elements to pass as an actual game title comparable to modern standards. the gfx are crude, but acceptable since old as fuck doom still looks bad ass. the gameplay is 100% solid, the gore is most satisfying, the combat is fresh, challenging and fun. traditional hip firing is a little wacked when using mouse aim- obviously because how doom was originally made, but it becomes second nature after a few levels. aiming down site is completely accurate HEADSHOTS ARE FUN AS FUCK. the assault rifle is balls-ass manly. this free fucking 200 year old game COMPLETELY blows modern AAA titles out of the water. PC MASTER RACE 4 LYFE HOMEBOY FAGGOT
