lvl 72 still hardcore motherfuckers
shit theres been 2 near death experiences. they happen when things become routine. in hardcore, things should never get routine.
the first crap pants happened when i managed to slip my way into the depths of the merciless catacombs. there was a mob of 20 frost casters, had 5 endurance charges up and leaped my way in. big mistake. each cast was hitting for 20% hp with multiple status ailments that stack into a unique curse which i dub as the mark of death. and thats when i became frozen solid. each hit was draining 50% hp, 3 hits came in potting was just keeping me above 5% hp, with no instant recoveries STILL FROZEN, SCREEN RED, THIS IS THE END. i dont know how the fuck i managed to break free from that one, but i did, escaped while seething in my own shit.
then yesterday i was farming docks in a party of six when again i leaped into an elite wraith hound frost spitting mob. these fuckers are nasty. instant mark of death with the fastest most legendary hp drain known to man. oh and was also caught in a major lag of LMP/GMP chain lightning (playing on inferior desktop) was saved by two of my q20 insta restore hallowed life flasks. used each glass blowers bauble ive found in the game to make 3 total. the first is q20 50% increased recovery and the second two are q20 instants... working on a fourth
