Glocks are NATO rated firearms, happy to gulp +P ammo. Have fun paying someone else to fix your broken toy while I replace anything needed, say in 50,000 rounds or so, by myself with a part that Glock is happy to sell me for $3.
Shot placement is everything, not caliber. Therefore a series of holes placed by my gun faster and where I intended them to go will do more harm than squidgingly slightly larger holes palced slower and with less accuracy from another pistol. And you are seriously concerned with body armor? You hang out in Lebanon for fun? Har.
As always YMMV. Carry and use the gun that you are happy with. And mind your manners, pipsqueak.
