once updates have been done and the computer has settled for a couple of days the disks never grind on forever anymore. period. not even after exiting a humongous app/game. alt tabbing from a heavy game instantly downclocks your cpu to the lowest multiplier even though the load may be greater than 10%
its great, you can literally feel the difference. i call it the windows 8
experience
this is clearly superior to windows 7. clearly
windows 8 is more like windows7 sp2.5 w/metro
