All that money eventually goes into your account. Once there, one dollar spent on a luxury bill is more or less indistinguishable from another spent on a medical bill.
So if you've committed to paying a bill, but haven't paid it yet, then every dollar you spend on something else is basically taken away from that. So if you say there is only one option you're willing to take for your dog, and you're still paying for luxuries like cable, then yes, this fund raiser is essentially paying for that.

This is a very simplified version of money management. It seems to me that's you're the one that is not only full of anger, but also needs help, as you're now telling me that your backup plan to get even more money is to sue me.

And you think I'm laughing about this? You want a personal story? A good friends uncle developed dementia and threw his whole life savings into so called "feel good" fund raisers. When he had a medical emergency he had no money to pay for it, and his family went into debt taking care of him. Believe it or not, there is a world out there full of people who do not have health insurance and live on hourly wages.
