RE: banned from muppets again....
Seeing all these posts is like waking up to Christmas morning. My perspective on it is this.
My mom had a bone marrow transplant so we had a bowling fundraiser thingy. Every cent went into a separate account because I think there were tax implications or something, I don't really know as I didn't handle that part. It helped a lot in the initial transplant... but it didn't come close to paying for it.
As of a year ago, parents more or less had to file for bankruptcy to wipe out the other debt they had as it was too much. Dad still is working a job that busts his back even though he's in his mid to late 60's to help get by.
HOWEVER, they didn't cancel cable or internet or anything like that. They sure as hell don't leave the house or go on any luxury vacations, so in their defense they keep their sanity by these little amenities when they literally don't do anything else unless me or my sister treat them (side note - I'm going to a Tigers game June 21st with them. Come find me ILA. Little slut.).
So I don't know what my point is. Maybe that I'm neutral? Either way keep arguing. It's fun as fuck to read.
