Also, I'm not sure why vacations are so prominent in this thread, but my family hasn't had one for 5 years. We were planning on taking one next Spring and bringing a friend of Sarah's with us to Disneyworld to finally have another break from the non-stop stressful medical roller coaster that our day-to-day life seems to be.
This surgery expense for Molly, if we can even make it work out, will probably cancel those plans.
I'm still paying for Sarah's hospitalization in January and I was scheduled to make another $1000 deposit into my HSA this month. I've got two final notices on my desk totalling $2000 from Boston Children's Hospital.
That's why I'm trying to get donations for Molly, because without them there's no way this dog is getting surgery.
