I've never played Civ before. Any of them. So even though I'm on turn 70 now, I still am not quite sure what I'm doing. Whenever I see a notification like another civilization has done "blah blah" before you, I feel defeated. Where are these mystery people? I need to find and kill them.
Speaking of which, I'm sure there's 300 ways to win the game but is the best strategy simply not to murder or enslave everyone? Seems to be the way to go.
Do you just play this game forever? Is there not a "You Win" or "You Lose" screen? A few more decades of single player and I'll be ready for multiplayer I'm sure.
