In humans they are the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments, but dogs being proper animals on all four feet we don't use the terms anterior and posterior, we say cranial and caudal. So when you had posted CCL that doesn't specify which one. I assumed cranial because it is by far the most common one for dogs (and humans) to rupture.

Sim: yeah but I saved up a war chest out of my grant for this sabbatical, and am only doing 6 months. I'll have to write a report but I have gotten hella research done, plus have spent half the semester in Berkeley or abroad. No more vacation was taken than in a normal day, so like half was spent farting around on the internet I guess.
