RE: Did you guys know
Originally I was just using that channel as a video extension of my Steam page to record Modern Warfare 3 matches that I'd play with my regular group of friends and share among them (And in a way it still is, I only ever publish uploads on Steam), the only reason I ever started doing it was because MW3 let's you playback a demo of any match you've played in the past so you can record off of that, I rarely record "live" when I'm playing multiplayer.
I've been meaning to record some of the L4D2 games I've had with mn, it's just that most of it boils down to the 2 of us ripping the game apart on expert realism while 2 strangers tag along for the ride, there's nothing very fancy about it. We may get some exciting bits here and there when everyone ends up dying and we have to run the rest of the map ourselves, or when we have to play the game in an obtuse manner cause the other 2 guys are just absolutely terrible at it, but those are rare as the game is old and most everyone knows how to play it at least adequately by now. Those L4D2 games also tend to go on for upwards of an hour and just the thought of uploading a 1 hour video makes me gag. That said I did have a 0 damage run on expert realism that I kinda wish I had recorded, but even that wasn't interesting enough for me to bother.
I only tend to record teh funnies, when I have an idea for teh funnies, some obscure game that resonates with me and I want to show it off to my Steam group, or just quick dealies of games I like. But really, it's mostly about teh funnies.
