On the contrary, the rate at which I lose in Ticket to Ride will easily be the undoing of my relationship. There was one time I tried strategically blocking her path even though I didn't need it - and the aftermath was horrific. I've never seen somebody go from so happy to so depressed in an instant.
The real reason to move to the board game route is because once you've entered the boring stage of your life, like me, you realize it's better to have games that real life people can come over and enjoy. That being said, I'd kill to be able to log another 600 hours into L4D2 while I drink scotch by myself and ridicule strangers online. I should probably prepare to be single again once L4D3 comes out.
