LAWYER: "Mr. Sim, are you acquainted with the defendant or any officers of the court present today?"
ME: "I am not, sir. Does this disqualify me? I hope not because it's extremely important that I serve on this jury."
LAWYER: "Why is it important?"
ME: "I don't know exactly. I think a higher power is directing me. I think it would be wise for the court to abide by its wishes."
LAWYER: " . . . "
ME: "So I'm in?"
LAWYER: "We'll let you know."
