I don't mean to be unkind, but that customer needs to spend some time with a certified feng shui instructor. The curtain valances are wrong for that room. Also, the framed pictures are too small and too close to the ceiling. As a temporary measure, she could put both pictures on one wall, one above the other. For the other wall I would recommend a good-sized framed needlepoint with a cute message like "Beware of My Cats!" or "Home Is Where I Keep My Shoes."
