Of course, mankind in general is obsessed with finding the answers to things, which is why many people simply choose not to believe because it doesn't add up to them.
Not that actual religion, followed by the book, doesn't sound batshit insane most of the time. I tend to believe that this is due to the influence of man over it, which is why if I accidentally do eat meat this Friday I won't run to church begging forgiveness, nor will I burst into flames.
