Sacred Underworld / Sacred gold
although originally released for windows (or something) this game is the embodiment of linux itself.
it runs like shotty dog ass with all kinds of quirks, as if the program is barely held together, about to break at moments notice. it just feels so shitty. its like purchasing a used russian automobile as salvage title.
but the fucking piece of shit *is* fun
this puts me in a unique predicament, where i'm still wondering how this could even be possible with such a shit title. but apparently it is..
anyway, the game is actually great if you can stomach some of the creature and actor noises; and look past the way it runs, AND chop your own dick off.
side note: while playing this my virtual machine decided to 'misplace' its sound buffer, i was stricken by some ghostly, horrid audio lag from the 4th linux dimension where only manually configuring my vmx file and adding a fucking buffer parameter could correct the issue. simply re-installing the vmware drivers was not enough
