It's not like Blood is the pinnacle of games. The movie references were fun, but it wasn't like OMG THIS GAEM IS TEH BST because of them. The solution is simple: take Serious Sam, change the weapons and enemies, turn the day into night, and make appropriate maps. There you go, you now have as good of a Blood3 as you're gonna get. Besides, it would be hard to fuck up follow up more than Blood2.
