Subject: My digital hunting experience...

So I just installed The Hunter, which is a free deer hunter style game. After the download and install, I jump in and I'm anxious to bag my first kill.

I start off at the bottom of a hill, and it's probably about a mile hike to get to a place with a decent vantage point. As I hike along a dirt road to get some height on the land, I hear a faint bleating. I freeze, and pull out binoculars for a quick scan. I catch a glimpse of a buck ahead of me, but it walks out of sight behind a hill and some trees. I cautiously walk to a tree line to the east of the buck to get a better view. By the time I get there, it's nowhere to be seen. However, there's fresh droppings near where I spotted it. Soon after, I see tracks in the mud, and start to follow. A few raindrops drizzle down, but the weather quickly clears up and I hear another call. I pull out a doe bleat lure, and give a response. Suddenly, I see the buck off in the distance. I lay down on the ground and ready my rifle. As luck would have it, it's walking towards me. It comes into perfect view, and as I steady my scope, I pull the trigger, ready for a perfect headshot. A popup window appears telling me I do not own a license to hunt this deer, but they would be more than happy to sell me a months worth of licenses for a few dollars. Goddamn free2play games.
