I cannot imagine why muppet's forum is so slow for you. His host is now much faster. He's turned off registration (not that this would matter much). There's not much going on in terms of the scripting and other rubbish you'd see on some mainstream site. Try emptying your cache, allowing cookies, maybe switching to another browser, possibly using another DNS service, definitely installing more Nortons.
