RE: LIFE UPDATE REPORTS DUE!
I just played Half-Life 2 again, and my God....that game has not aged well at all. I had forgotten just how bad the story was. Why would anyone be waiting for a sequel to this?
I also picked up Fear 3, which is a bad game on it's own. It's probably not worth the $1 I spent on it. Despite all the problems it has.....lo-res textures......repetitive linear gameplay.....a convoluted story....lack of continuity between levels....unintuitive menus....
Despite ALL that, it STILL manages to outshine Half-Life 2 by a wide margin. Is the problem that the game is 9 years old, and it somehow got stuck in some sort of weird evolutionary form of gaming where everything before and after it were somehow better? Does anyone actually still like this game?
Playing this game is like having someone shit on your face while you simultaneously fist two other people in their asses with turds.
