Not PC gaming. Just gaming in general really. I think it probably has something to do with the business model for the entire industry. Churn out complete clones and sequels to popular franchises every year, load them with micro transactions, repeat for about a decade until all other publishers follow suit or go out of business.
As a bonus, you can speckle some cheap and shitty Indie game developers in there that only create artsy black and white games that involve minimal platforming and 3 to 4 hours worth of gameplay.
Too bad tabletop gaming requires friends and being social. It could really corner the market otherwise.
