$300 is a large investment for a console, yes. It inevitably means $300 for the console, $120 on games to play on it out of the gate, and probably another $100 on extra controllers or accessories. And this is all around Christmas time where I really shouldn't be buying jack shit for myself but fortunately I already have 90% of that shopping out of the way so it's sort of a "Screw you all I'm getting myself a gift" action.
