Unless they changed it since I last played a wizard, mirror image breaks out of enemy CC including jailer and frozen, teleport only helps to avoid it but it won't break you out of it once you're caught.
Mirror image is the smoke screen equivalent for the wizard, though you do need to work around the cooldown.
