I may have unwittingly played through DS2 in a single sitting the other day, I was planning on taking my time with it and enjoy it but oh well, such is life in addiction-land. I've since finished up a dual wield fists only playthrough and am now working on an SL1 playthrough.
The SL1 game will be interesting, it's much more cheesable than DS1 in that the game is structured in such a way that you can skip pretty much all of the great souls and half of the boss fights if you want to but it is much, MUCH harder than DS1 if you actually want to do it right and kill everything following the game's standard progression. Game balance was also changed so that SL1 runs force you to dodge everything instead of relying on a shield and two handing when you get the chance, which is how I got through most of DS1 SL1... In any case this is probably gonna take me a solid 2 weeks to complete, if not more.
