RE: "I'd buy that for 40 dollar"
Pre Talon Lithtech games had an annoying tendency to stutter when running even slightly under memory spec, I never figured out what caused it or ever managed to improve it, always assumed it was due to how audio/textures were streamed. This was basically what managed to zap any enjoyment I might have had out of Blood 2/NOLF. Later on I remember buying a shiny new Geforce and trying NOLF 2, it ran great. It then occurred to me to give the original NOLF a try now that I had better hardware and much to my surprise, the annoying stutters were still present.
It doesn't apply to NOLF but there was also the multiplayer coding... My god the multiplayer coding. I don't remember much about Blood 2 other than big snakes with gauss guns and all those times my guy would violently start shaking around the map and eventually get thrown through the floor/walls into the black void of noclippiness and instagibbed. Hilarious, sure, but boy was it ever rough.
