I've done Kickstarters in the past and the first 2 days are always the heaviest. You just post some shit on Facebook and twitter and the immediately interested parties invest. Then, it plateaus almost immediately and unless you already have a huge online following/presence, or a few grand to dump into online advertising, they tend to fizzle fast.
Unless Kickstarter decides to make you a featured campaign which is a golden ticket if you get it.
