Machinarium..
.. is AMAZING. I found it to be the most well rounded adventure game I've played, and also incredibly charming. The art, animation, sounds, and music are top-notch. Actually, I just stood in some areas so I could listen to the music. While it's a point-n-click style adventure game, it doesn't have particularly tedious inventory puzzles that you typically expect from this genre. It has various other puzzles, commonly set up as some kind of weird control panels of sorts, but they're quite clever and varied. I don't typically like puzzles because I suck at them, but I couldn't help but smile while solving some of these. The developers also minimized player frustration by including smart integrated tip and walkthrough systems. Sure, that's kind of cheating when it comes to adventure games, but only the aspiest of aspies can go and beat Monkey Island for example without a little help every now and then. The story is minimal but fun, and there's no talking other than a robot saying "ciga" (instead of cigarette). The only downside is that I wish it was a bit longer. Still, this is now one of my favorite games. Unless you absolutely hate everything about the genre, you should get this game.
