To add to that: You should buy it just to experience one of the most gloriously crappy implementations of deathmatch in recent history, cause shoehorning game modes that nobody wants is the latest rage. Other than that, standard coop based game logic applies: It's not necessarily the game being well made, but rather the fact that you're playing it with friends that makes it fun.
But yes, don't go in expecting enemy densities like the originals, you'll only come out disappointed.
