God, the amount of exaggerations in this story is ridiculous. You can tell it's mostly bullshit.
Translations:
"nearly bit off my own tongue" = no stitches required, so at best it's probably a canker sore from poor oral hygiene
"3-5 compression fractures" = no exact number given, so likely a pulled muscle felt in multiple places
"undiagnosed cardiac arrest" = heartburn
"my cheap Amazon cane is better than durable grade hospital equipment" = not putting much weight on the cane, so its mostly for show
