I mean The Music Lesson, not the Piano Lesson.
Anyway, here's what I mean:
Tim's Music Lesson
Vermeer's Music Lesson
Tim's genius lay in the fact that he re-created not only the technique (allegedly) but the room itself, so he's going to get different light and color effects. I'll grant that. However, Tim's version looks like a paint-by-number product. Vermeer's looks like what it is -- an original masterpiece.
I'd buy it for a dollar.
