nobody wants a giant like google fucking around with their internets monopoly, so the other companies are pretty much forced to upgrade their lines and not charge ridiculous prices.
the overpriced poor quality of service is apparently most prevalent in backwater hick stations where nobody gives a fuck.
alas, google is indeed the savior of america's finest genetics.
