the build has about 20% nodes invested into mana, plus the rest on just pure DPS

no life or ES needed
she has all the best nodes of templar, witch and shadow.. along with the critically important projectile DMG nodes in shadow tree, which negates the DMG loss from greater multiple projectiles

a 20/20 GMP gem + those projectile nodes eliminate the -50% DMG projectile multiplier with the combined projectile bonuses of over +100%, bringing the dmg to what it would be without the GMP skill gem, maybe slightly over

projectile DMG is completely separate from spell/cold/elemental dmg, which are all the same

so lets say if my ice spear does 1000 base (non critical) dmg from all the cold/spell/elemental nodes and gear. that is a projectile which does 1000dmg
so its treated is a separate whole. so a base multiplier of -50% would be 500 projectile DMG, and adding 100% to 500dmg would bring it back to 1000dmg

the interesting part is when you start getting in the positive side of projectile damage. lets say i swap a 20/20 GMP skillgem with a 20/20 LMP, which has only -30% base multiplier, then i curse an enemy with projectile weakness, so my overall increased projectile dmg is like 60% above what the non modified base would be
now, keep in mind the real base dmg of my ice spears are a little over 2k
they also crit at +640% dmg

so do the math
2k ice spear
+ 60% added to its base

then all of that base hitting for +720%
and each cast takes 0.22 seconds to cast
plus this is cold DMG so whatever is being hit by that shit is now frozen and not able to move or attack, even if its the most hardcore endgame boss with 6 other players in the room
plus this is a ranged attack, meaning i dont have to be up close and melee shit.. i can cast from afar

if its a lone boss with no minions like piety and a few others, then i remove any multiple projectile gem for an even greater projectile boost beyond 60%

also, the skill gem of cold penetration negates -39% of enemy cold resistance, no matter what their resistances are. the resistance starts at their cap of 75%
so if they have a resistance of 75(135%) it will take away from the cap of 75%, no matter how high their resistance is. and the only thing that will take the cap beyond 75% are those elemental specific auras which none of them use, and even at that, the cap would be only 3% higher at 78%

im also debating on how to spend the last points of this build once she reaches level 85
to go for dual cursing of ele weakness + cold weakness combined with the cold penetration skillgem
OR
projectile weakness + increased critical dmg + cold penetration skillgem
