fun fact: i watched all 42 episodes of 'the grand hotel'
i wouldnt really recommend this one, you really have to stick with it, especially about half way through. but i enjoyed none the less, i was captivated.
its basically a mexican soap opera, but its spanish, an in spain.
BUT there are so many little historical tidbits that i did enjoy. the episode starts off with the hotel being retrofitted with lightbulbs, and does a pretty good job of maintaining historical relevance throughout the seething drama
its about a turn of the century hotel and its scandalous mysteries, and yes, you will hear a spanish housemaid bend to her knees and cry "PORQUEEEEEE" but i still i thought it was wonderful.
