There's a
huge article
about him on Wikipedia. Fascinating guy. My favorite of his characters is still Comte de Rochefort in Richard Lester's version of The Three Musketeers (can't help throwing in a totally unrelated plug for Rebecca de Mornay as the best Lady de Winter in the 1993 version).
Anyway, Lee will be missed.
