My cost is only around $700 altogether, spread out over about a year. That's because instead of the actual movie fur from the actual movie fur supplier I'm using cheap hair extension hair and a lot of manual blending and then attaching it to the fucking costume like 8 strands at a time. :) I've put like 300 hours into this thing already (part of the body is done, too.)
The result is totally worth it, though. I think. Now I have to find a way to store it without destroying it.
