I liked the companions in Fallout New Vegas, especially Boone and Cass.
I re-bought Morrowind for $5 on the Steam sale. It's a little buggy but not too bad. I'm surprised by how well it works with the Steam overlay. I've already stolen Fargoth's money and am stabbing mudcrabs. Very soon I'll be off to Balmora to join the Mage guild, pop over to Caldera, and rob some armor and other stuff.
