Also, they left out the scene where Denzel would have been thrown in jail for destroying the Home Mart store. I suspect he's not employed there anymore. Ordinarily, I would say that he probably had a lot of money squirreled away from his operative days, but all he could come up with for the prostitute was $9800, which means that she got his whole kitty.
He needs a job. I worry about that. Equalizer vigilanteism sees money going out, not coming in. Even his contacts in the CIA couldn't persuade Walmart to hire him as a greeter. He would feel sorry for one of those useless associates who stand around the abandoned cashier areas, doing nothing except showing customers how to use the self-checkout machines. Those associates are always being abused by their husbands and their dozens of KKK cronies. Within a week, that Walmart would be reduced to soggy ashes. The economics of all this get pretty galactic.
