I assume that regardless of guilt, that this is still sucky for Tobey. Probably more sucky for his friend depending on the severity of the charges. If it's just another "lets ruin someone's life over marijuana" charge, then that's shitty. If it's a, "charged with trafficking hundreds of thousands of dollars in heroine shoved up your ass" sort of charge... then he was probably playing with fire.
