You may be asking, "Sim, if you had to spend millions on imperial gems, you must have been going through Forgotten Souls like nobody's business, like Skittles. Why didn't you run out?"
Excellent question. Let me answer that in one part: The miracle of Kanai's Cube always produces a legendary item when you upgrade a rare. Most of these legendaries are not useful for a middling paragon character, so voila: as long as you have those crappy crafting mats for the upgrade, you can indirectly craft all the Forgotten Souls you want. Just take your junk legendaries to the blacksmith and get your Forgotten Soul as salvage.
