dual target painters are the shit
there is no need for webbing if you're dual painting
missiles rely on lots of maths, the velocity of the explosion and the size of the explosion counter the velocity of the enemy ship (sheer velocity regardless of direction, not directional velocity like other weapons targeting systems rely on)
painting a target and increasing its signature radius (its size) negates both explosion radius and explosion velocity penalties of your missiles. simply put, a large target has to move much quicker to escape your physics, so there is no negating damage due to enemy speed -
yes target painting takes care of both size AND speed of the enemy ship
i was previously manually reducing their speed with a stasis webbifier, but that modual only has 10k range
target painting has a very long range, and it looks rad as fuck
