Downloading games/updates from steam usually goes around 70-80mb/sec which I guess is something like 600mbit. I think origin might be a bit faster as it only took about 2 minutes to download the battlefront beta.
Pretty much everything averages to about 400-500mbit.
Ping to moscow is ~150ms. The first time I ran speedtest, I had my Thinkpad W520 hardwired to the router and it would only go up to 700mbit. It turns out thats as much as that machines network port can handle.
Online games don't lag. I've been in Planetside 2 with around 200 players fighting over a single area while broadcasting a 1080p stream and listening to internet radio and it still runs smooth.
