I'm turning away from the i7 6700k. I can find nothing about it to justify its price. If I were coming from some old Phenom or Kentsfield or something, sure. But I'm not, so I will find a stopgap vidya card and hold out for a while. Mebbe I'll toss in an SSD or two.
I'm not exactly skeptical about Pascal, but I suspect it will be something different than what people are projecting.
